Getting Started
What you can do as a member
A Tracksynk account lets you do two things: license music for your projects, and (once unlocked) upload your own music for others to license. You don't pick a role at signup. You just sign up, and the licensing side is open straight away.
If you also make music and want to publish it, you'll submit a link to existing work and we'll review you for the roster. More on that in the Publishing section.
Signing up
Sign up with your email or with a Google account. There's nothing to configure on the first screen. You land on the homepage signed in, with browse, save, and licence all available immediately.
You'll see your name and avatar in the top right once you're in. Click through to your account dashboard any time from there.
Finding music for the first time
Two paths into the catalogue. Use the AI search bar on the homepage to describe what you want in plain English ("warm acoustic for a road trip montage", "tense cinematic strings for a thriller trailer"). Or hit Browse and filter by genre, mood, tempo, or licence tier.
You can stream any track in full before deciding. No 30 second previews, no watermarks. The audio player stays pinned to the bottom of the page as you browse.
Saving tracks for later
Tap the heart on any track to save it to a tracklist. Your account starts with a default Favourites tracklist, but you can create as many named tracklists as you want (one per project, one per mood, whatever fits how you work).
Tracklists live in your account dashboard under Tracklists.
Licensing your first track
When you find a track that fits, click Licence on the track row or detail page. You'll see the tiers available for that track with the price next to each. Pick the tier that matches your use, pay through Stripe, and the wav file plus your signed licence PDF arrive instantly. You can download both straight away from the success screen, and they stay accessible from your Purchased Tracks tab forever.
