Finding & Saving Tracks
The browse page
/browse is the main discovery surface. Filters down the left
side: genre, mood, tempo, artist, licence tier. Pick any combination
and the catalogue narrows in real time. Filter chips appear above
the results so you can see what's active and clear individual
filters one at a time.
Results paginate at 30 tracks per page. The audio player at the bottom of the screen plays through whatever set you're looking at.
AI semantic search
The search bar at the top of /browse (and the same bar on the homepage and on the For Creators page) is more than keyword search. Type natural language like "sun-bleached driving guitar for a surf brand" or "low-end heavy industrial for a tech reveal". The search reads your phrase as a brief, not just a list of keywords, and surfaces tracks that fit the feel.
For best results, write three or more words and describe both the sound and the use. Single keywords still work, but you'll get a broader match.
If AI search is briefly unavailable, the bar quietly falls back to substring matching against title and artist. Your query still produces results, just slightly less smart.
Tracklists
A tracklist is your saved-tracks bucket. You can have as many as you want. Each one shows the cover art of the most recent tracks you've saved into it.
To save a track, hit the heart icon on any track row. The save popup lets you pick which tracklist to drop it into, or create a new one on the spot. The default Favourites tracklist exists from day one and can't be deleted.
Manage tracklists at /account/tracklists. You can rename,
reorder, move tracks between tracklists, or delete an empty one.
Artist profiles
Every artist on the roster has a profile at /artist/[slug].
The profile shows their banner image, avatar, bio, social links,
and full catalogue. Hit Play All on the profile to queue every
track they've published. Each track on the profile licences the
same way as on the browse page.
Curated mixes
/mixes is where the Tracksynk team puts themed collections
together. Each mix has a hero image, a title, and a hand-picked
track list. Tap into any mix to play the whole set.
Mixes are curated by humans, not algorithmically generated. They update when our team finds a theme worth pulling together.
