Notifications & Email Preferences
Three independent toggles
The notifications section at /account/info has three switches:
- Sales: emails when one of your tracks is licensed. Includes who bought, what tier, your cut.
- Track approvals: emails when an admin approves a track you've submitted. Includes a link to your now-live track page.
- Marketing & dispatches: the Tracksynk monthly newsletter and occasional behind-the-scenes notes.
Each toggle is independent. Mute one without affecting the others.
Defaults
Sales and track approvals default to ON. Marketing dispatches default to OFF (you have to opt in by ticking the box on the homepage newsletter form or in your notifications panel).
Transactional emails are always sent
These can't be muted. They cover legal or financial necessities: licence purchase confirmations (sent to the buyer), licence PDF deliveries, Stripe payout notifications, password reset, account deletion confirmations.
CustomSynk request emails
If you're an artist with CustomSynk enabled on any of your tracks, you'll get emails when a buyer sends a request, when the buyer responds in the chat, and when admin moves the request to the agreement stage. These are part of the CustomSynk lifecycle and aren't gated by the toggles above.
