Buying & Downloading
How payment works
Tracksynk handles payment through Stripe. When you click Licence on a track, you're taken to a Stripe checkout page with the track price plus the 5% service fee shown as line items. Pay by card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay.
You can buy a licence whether you're signed in or signed out. If you check out signed out, the licence gets attached to whatever email you used at Stripe. You can claim it later by signing up with that same email.
We don't store card details. Stripe does, and only with your consent.
What arrives after payment
The instant the payment clears, three things happen. The wav file becomes downloadable. Your licence PDF gets generated and dropped in your account. You get a confirmation email with both links.
The success screen after checkout shows the download buttons directly. You don't need to leave the page to grab the files.
Where your purchases live
Every licence you've ever bought sits in your account at
/account/purchased. Each entry shows the track, the artist,
the tier you bought, the date, and download buttons for the wav
and the PDF. Both stay accessible forever, even if the track is
later removed from the catalogue.
Re-downloading
The download buttons in your Purchased Tracks tab use signed URLs that don't expire. Click any time, get the file. If a wav ever fails to download, send us a note and we'll regenerate the link.
CustomSynk delivery is different
CustomSynk isn't a self-service purchase. You request a
CustomSynk licence either from a track that has it enabled, or
through the /customsynk/contact form. We negotiate the
terms with you (and with the artist, if their input is needed),
then send you a Stripe payment link. Once paid, the wav and the
custom-drafted licence PDF land in your Purchased Tracks the
same way every other licence does.
